Hot Chocolate Night 01.28.18

Happy Saturday,

Can you believe it is February ๐Ÿ˜ต

Where did time go?

Confession 101 – I have a tendency to write 2017 but I’m getting better ๐Ÿ˜

Now back to the topic. I organized a Hot Chocolate Night this past Sunday for my beautiful friends. I was lucky enough to host my event at my friends’ place (Shout out to Asra’a & Fatima). This also happened to fall on the same night as the Grammy’s – more reason to celebrate, right? Before I share pictures, I would like to point out two purchases from amazon that I used for my event. Lets be real – sharing is caring, right?

My first purchase was a hot chocolate bar frame. I did not have time to do a DIY frame (I work full-time). So, I went and searched online and long behold – Amazon came to the rescue. The exciting part of buying this frame was that it was already assembled and the only step required was to insert the picture in the frame and attach the base. When you buy the purchase, you receive two picture signs and a frame and a base to hold it together. Keep in mind, that the frame size is 4-inch x 8.25 inches so it’s small. You can also customize the writing to fit the occasion. I didn’t customize mine because it said “Baby, its cold outside. Warm up Here, Hot Chocolate bar” – very relevant to my occasion…. Without further ado, here is the link: Andaz Press Picture Frame (pics will be at the end of the post)

My second purchase was the ultimate foodie purchase (drum roll please): An Electric S’mores Maker – don’t get me started, I might pull a dance move. Is it exciting as it sounds? oh yeahhhhh. Again, I wanted to serve my guests s’mores but its too cold to do it outside in January. So again, I went to amazon and found this treasure. I noticed that it had good reviews but I was worried because it was selling for $25 – so my logic was does this really work or is it a rip off? The price point is fabulous but I must say – this got me shook (it is currently selling for $20 โ˜บ๏ธ). When I was reading the reviews, a customer mentioned that it takes a while for the machine to warm up but I have to disagree. It took about 5-10 minutes ๐Ÿ‘Œ. Another pro, its very easy to assemble & easy to carry. I am impressed and will use this for future events. Without further ado, here is the link: Nostalgia Electric S’mores Maker (pics will be at the end of the post)

If you have any suggestions for event planning/decorating – please let me know (comment below ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ). I am always up for recommendations. Alas, enough of my yapping and lets get to the pics.

Since the theme was hot chocolate, I thought it would be cool to have S’mores and extra toppings to make it even more enjoyable (thanks to Asra’a & Fatima for assisting with the setup). See below ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

That’s it for now. Stay tuned for more,
